Course History

SEPTIMUS was introduced in 2003, with funding from the Leonardo da Vinci programme, to provide online education in Psychotherapy and Counselling. The course covered three units. 65 students enrolled in the course.

Following the success of this learning environment, DEEP was introduced in 2004, consisting of a further set of three units. It was funded through the Socrates Erasmus Programme.

Several of the partners have been successful in obtaining European funding to add new distance learning modules.

External evaluation of the course has provided very positiive feedback.
